The Full Story

Mexican Interior

A colonial style villa in Cuernavaca blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Classic Roman elements and antique Chinese furniture complete the interior design with

balance and originality.

A painting of Italian artist Antonio Vinci and antique 1800 Chinese collection trunks. The oil treated terracotta floor comes from an old colonial villa. The zebra rug is coming from authorized South Africa Government thinning campaign.

The skirtingboard was handpainted in Mexico.

An aisle leads to one of the Guests' rooms,

pictures of classic boats are positioned on a small shelf,

a solution often suggested by the designer.

A small plunge pool is surrounded by aromatic plants.

A small TV area is obteined under the stairs.

Stone shaped poufs are upholstered in wool. 

A farm style Mexican table is surrounded by

four Louis Ghost chairs by Philippe Starck.

IN THE CORNER: an old Mexican cast iron stove
